The name "Supraton" made its debut in the dance scene back in 1997, when Aga Heller opened his own club in Stuttgart (Germany) under the same name. DJs like Steve Bug and Chris Liebing played there. A little while later he joined the management of M1_The Club - one of the most respected clubs in Europe at the time. Before all of this took off, he also started an event and booking agency called "Mediaking", which took care of artists such as Mark Spoon, DJ Dag and Thomas Schumacher. Aga Heller juggled doing bookings for his company and working at his new post for M1. So, the agency "Supraton" was born and exclusive artists, like Felix da Housecat, Deep Dish, Roger Sanchez and Armand van Helden were represented by Aga Heller and his team (in cooperation with our friends at Caus-N-ff-ct) - and Supraton became one of the most important agencies in Germany and Europe. Some years later Aga Heller decided to move on and work for a major record company. He sold his agency, which continued as “M1_Bookings” for a long time and then changed its name to “Fake Artists”.

The name Supraton stayed with Aga Heller. But it was some five years later, after leaving the major record industry, when Supraton was to be re-launched. Supraton is now a full service agency, not just a usual booking agency, but an agency that works closely with its artist in the music scene, an agency in whom they can place their trust. Supraton looks after all of the artists´ needs – acting as their secretaries, sometimes even as their babysitters – they know they´ve always got a friend in Supraton! This also means that the team of Supraton handles all of their releases and remixes, all of the licensing stuff and takes care of their marketing, PR and promotion. Supraton looks after their accounting and merchandising and obviously deals with all of their bookings. Supraton takes care of everything that the artists want Supraton to take of! ;-)

Artist management is definitely the main focus at Supraton, but there are other undertakings Supraton is involved with. It handles the “Trance Nation” events worldwide, for example. If you weren´t already aware, Trance Nation is a famous mix album series with regular releases in U.S.A., Canada, Benelux, Germany, Poland and most countries of the former USSR. These events provide the opportunity to represent the artists featured on the album, to a world-wide audience.

Furthermore, Supraton is a brand entertainment agenency and works together with various consumer goods companies, helping them to gain a presence in the club scene. Supraton is involved in their marketing activities and public relations work, as well as organising events for them. Bacardi is an example of this. Supraton is involved in Bacardi's "Ritmo" and "B-Live" events and also in the "B-Live" CD series released by Ministry of Sound Recordings, Germany.

The team of Supraton consists of several experienced artist managers, tour managers, event managers and marketing managers.
